After already rescheduling his show in Denver once, Morrissey has postponed his stop at the Buell Theatre for Feb. 21, he announced today.

“As the doctor has ordered additional rest for Morrissey, the upcoming engagements in Denver (2/21), Salt Lake City (2/22) and San Francisco (2/24) will need to be rescheduled,” an AEG Live news release says. “Morrissey is currently undergoing treatment for a bleeding ulcer and Barrett’s esophagus. These shows are in the process of being rescheduled immediately and all patrons are encouraged to hold on to their tickets as the new dates will be announced shortly.”

Morriessey will resume his tour with a performance on Live with Jimmy Kimmel on Feb. 26, according to the news release.

The former Smiths frontman first announced his stop in Denver in in June of 2012. He was originally scheduled to play in Colorado on Nov. 3, but postponed it to take care of his sick mother. Earlier this month, Morrissey postponed seven more dates in February and was supposed to pick back up on the tour in Colorado on Feb. 21.

Is his ulcer actually bleeding? Might have been a Brit doctor saying, “You got to cancel your bleeding shows. You’ve got a bleeding ulcer!”
