3) Furthur, Feb. 21 – 24, Ogden Theatre & 1stBank Center, $55 – $65
Jam music has a passionate following in the Rocky Mountain region, which explains the slew of jam-oriented New Year’s Eve shows six weeks ago. Now, just a few months later, are four consecutive Furthur shows in Colorado. This run of shows by the jam band fronted by former Grateful Dead members Phil Lesh and Bob Weir — which performs a mix of Grateful Dead tunes and original material — kicks off at the intimate Ogden Theatre on Thursday. And as you would imagine, the show is sold out. Tickets, $55-$65, are still available for the band’s larger shows at the 1stBank Center from Feb. 22-24.
