Teengirl Fantasy will live stream a Valentine’s Day showBy Erik Myers | February 13th, 2013 | No Comments »
Regardless of your Valentine Day plans, their soft-serve synth is great background music. The New York duo has yet to tour extensively since releasing their sophomore album “Tracer” last fall, so it would be worth getting comfortable with its quirks before choosing to incorporate it into your evening. The record included vocals from Panda Bear, occasional Daft Punk vocalist Romanthony and fellow performer Laurel Halo, whose performance will also be live-streamed.
Minding the colorful seppuku on its’ cover, the Brooklyn artist’s “Quarantine” is a purely meditative expression. Pouring out over lithe, pretty synths are her elegant vocals and tightly wound lyrics, some of which are sweet nothings, some are not.
