Iron & Wine announces a new album, listen to the first single, “Lovers’ Revolution”

Modern bard Sam Beam and his coffee shop-popular outfit Iron & Wine will release a follow up to 2011’s “Kiss Each Other Clean” on April 16.

The album, titled “Ghost on Ghost,” features 12 new songs and some typically indie album art of a young couple’s entwined, cigarette-rested thighs.

Iron & Wine made its debut on Sub Pop in 2002 and since then has recorded four full-length, studio albums. The folkster last performed in Colorado at the Boulder Theatre in 2011 in support of “Kiss Each Other Clean.”
