Kendrick Lamar is hip hop’s golden boy for the moment, and as such, landed a spot on “Saturday Night Live”. It’s all thanks to his album, “good kid, m.A.A.d city,” which appeared at the top of many “Best of 2012″ album lists.

If you ever wanted Lamar to give you tips on a 401k alongside the Lonely Island Crew and Mr. Maroon 5 (Adam Levine), you’re in luck. The pride of Compton also performed “Swimming Pools (Drank)” and the emotive, “Poetic Justice.” Kendrick Lamar will be performing at the 2013 SnowBall Music Festival lineup in Winter Park. Kendrick Lamar was great in the YOLO parody short. I would have to say that it was my favorite skit from the show. I didn’t get to watch the show live since I was working late at DISH on Saturday night. I did, however set my DISH Hopper DVR to automatically record SNL so I could still see it. My roommates always see SNL when it airs, so it’s great that we can watch up to 4 shows on different TVs in the house, thanks to my whole-home DVR.
