Zac Brown Band announces a return to Red Rocks in MayBy Colleen Smith | January 15th, 2013 | No Comments »
Last summer the country folk band released “Uncaged,” its second major label album, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200.
Mixing country with R&B and Caribbean sounds, Zac Brown Band smudges the boundaries of musical genres. The band will play at Red Rocks on May 8 with Blackberry Smoke.
In 2011 the band played two sold out nights at the mountain amphitheater. Tickets for the May show go on sale on Jan. 18 at 10 a.m. and are available through ticketmaster.com.
Colleen Smith, a longtime freelancer at The Denver Post, is the author of the novel “Glass Halo” and the gift book “Laid-Back Skier.”
