A mysterious Twitter account has leaked a new Prince song called “Same Page Different Book.” Prince performs at the19th annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, Monday, March 15, 2004, at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York. Photo by Kevin Mazur, AP Photo/Wireimage.com.

A Twitter account under the name 3rdEyeGirl surfaced as of Sunday, with a series of cryptic under 140 character messages all with some relation to Prince, Spin is reporting.

Two links are remixes of Prince songs — his latest single “Rock and Roll Love Affair” and an extended version of “Laydown,” originally from his “20Ten” LP. While it has not been confirmed the Twitter account is coming from Prince’s camp, the release of a brand new song, “Same Page Different Book,” makes it seem like some strange marketing tactic. It’s a funky track focused on Prince’s favorite thing — religion.

There is also a link to a rehearsal of a “Bambi” performance, which includes a particularly great guitar solo. While it’s difficult to tell if 3rdEyeGirl is a real source, or someone who got their hands on the unauthorized materials, check out the song below.
