Justin Bieber smokes weed (allegedly) then conveniently plays Denver show

Less than a week after being photographed smoking what appears to be a blunt, teenage icon and now-apparent-pothead, Justin Bieber, is making a stop at the Pepsi Center tonight  — probably to see what a Rocky Mountain high is all about (although he probably would not get that reference).

See pictures from Bieber’s Jan. 7 show at the Pepsi Center in Denver.

The photos were snapped on Jan. 2, shortly after a paparazzo was killed in pursuit of Bieber’s Ferrari. But, rather than express remorse about the tragic incident, sources said Bieber was talking about how tired he had been lately, and his desire for fast food.

The day of the pot-cident, Bieber tweeted, “2013 got some big things coming… gonna stay positive #BELIEVE.”

And after these hazy circumstances came to light, he tweeted to his fans, “everyday growing and learning. trying to be better. u get knocked down, u get up.” Um… clearly a reference to the trials and tribulations of growing his own pot, right?

Unfortunately for 18-year-old Biebs, marijuana is legal in Colorado — but only for people over 21 (let’s be real though, if anyone can afford a convincing fake ID, it’s Justin Bieber).

This new stoner side of Bieber might also explain why he added a second Denver date on June 30 to his Believe tour.

Check back at Reverb tomorrow for a full slideshow of his Denver concert, and for pictures of Bieber fans.

For his convenience, here’s a list of the five closest fast food restaurants to the Pepsi Center, as identified by Urban Spoon:

1. Quiznos, 1000 Chopper Cir.

2. Taco Bell, 900 Auraria Parkway

3. McDonalds, 900 Auraria Parkway

4. Blimpie, 1500 7th St.

5. Panda Express, 2000 Eliches Cir.

Why is Justin Bieber trying to act like Kurt Cobain by taking drugs?

    • Tom

      Everybody smokes weed.

      • regret94

        Not everyone, dude.

        • Versavice

          Pretty much though.. Seriously..

        • B

          Yes they do. LOL

    • elight

yeah shut your mouth you dont know what youre talking about

    • Tangible666

Typically, potheads don’t stick shotguns in their mouths. Look up “Cobain” and “heroin.”

      • TheVandalsfan

You do realize I said he was only acting like him for taking drugs? I wasn’t referring in any way to Cobain’s death.

        • Tangible666

How can a little girl act like the frontman of one of the greatest bands, ever, just for smoking a lil’ ganja?

  • TOm

I have slightly more respect for Bieber now.

  • Greg

So what he smoked weed? It doesent harm you if you do it once in a while.

    • Det

It doesnt harm you? smoking/inhaling any kind of smoke or fumes does harm you. Kids now days think they know everything and think they are cool because they smoke weed. Your not. So dumb. I hope he gets in trouble for it. Just because he is a celebrity doesnt mean he should just get a slap on the wrist

      • DetIsAFagget

you drive a car? what about all the smoke and fumes you are inhaling there? what about when you walk alongside the road?
There are many different ways to remove tar from marijuana smoke decreasing health issues.
oh, and also it has been shown to do this crazy thing called CURE CANCER.
so, now who is the idiot, you idiot?

  • Jeremy Miller

I see Bieber in a new light.

Not this skewed, biased view of this poorly written article which tries to portray Bieber as an idiotic pothead.
    People are too close-minded.
So if someone who smokes one blunt or joint, whatever the hell he was seen with, they’re an automatic “pothead” (whatever that means).
Well what if a kid drinks a beer– a more “appropriate” drug to the conventional mindsets– does that make him an alcoholic?
    THINK a little!

  • ehpek

Terrible article, quit writing, I dont even care for Bieber but you blow.

  • BobbyWhite

Wow. That was one of the most ignorant and stupid posts I have ever seen. You should feel sorry for yourself, and may god have mercy on your soul.

  • joe

i looked at the pictures looks more like a cig than weed…

    • B

You know what, it is an outrage that he’s smoking weed. With that beautiful voice he should be vaporizing it instead!

      • Tangible666

        Edibles.

  • Daniel

That was the worst written article I have ever read. Saying that quote means he is growing pot? Come on man the public isn’t that gullible.

    • B

I would buy the weed that Bieber grows.

  • Deel1

And we should be surprised?!!! For goodness sakes, what do you think people in the states where MJ is legal are going to do? DUH! Colorado really didn’t need to get the law to allow MJ, but they went the legal route. This is just what they do! SO Justin is now old enough to figure out for himself what he wants to do…but unfortunately it is in the eyes of the public now. I don’t advocate it, but why do the reporters insist on commenting on this anyway? It’s a legal thing now. Down the road they will want to legalize LSD or drugs like that! That’s where all this is headed anyway.

    • Tangible666

I live in Colorado, and I like what our MJ laws have become. I’ve tried the harder stuff. There’s no reason to legalize any of it. I’d definitely vote AGAINST legalizing acid, coke, heroin, etc, if it were to be put on a ballot.

  • T

I don’t understaind what basis you have established to reffer to him as a ‘pothead’. If he smoked it on a regular basis (daily), then you could call him a ‘pothead’. Since he only smokes it on occasion, then he is not a ‘pothead’. Besides, have you even cosidered that it might just be a roll up? Furthermore, so what if he’s smoking weed? Let the kid learn of his own mistakes before you go about judging him with your poorly written excuse of an artice.

  • Tangible666

While it’s legal to possess up to an ounce and consume (in private) marijuana, it’s still illegal to buy/sell/transfer it until October, when the retail system will (allegedly) be in place. If you have a Colorado Medical Marijuana License, however, it’s just like going to the corner store for milk, eggs, and an ounce of Strawberry Kush crossed with Purple Urple.
