Justin Bieber smokes weed (allegedly) then conveniently plays Denver show

Less than a week after being photographed smoking what appears to be a blunt, teenage icon and now-apparent-pothead, Justin Bieber, is making a stop at the Pepsi Center tonight  — probably to see what a Rocky Mountain high is all about (although he probably would not get that reference).

See pictures from Bieber’s Jan. 7 show at the Pepsi Center in Denver.

The photos were snapped on Jan. 2, shortly after a paparazzo was killed in pursuit of Bieber’s Ferrari. But, rather than express remorse about the tragic incident, sources said Bieber was talking about how tired he had been lately, and his desire for fast food.

The day of the pot-cident, Bieber tweeted, “2013 got some big things coming… gonna stay positive #BELIEVE.”

And after these hazy circumstances came to light, he tweeted to his fans, “everyday growing and learning. trying to be better. u get knocked down, u get up.” Um… clearly a reference to the trials and tribulations of growing his own pot, right?

Unfortunately for 18-year-old Biebs, marijuana is legal in Colorado — but only for people over 21 (let’s be real though, if anyone can afford a convincing fake ID, it’s Justin Bieber).

This new stoner side of Bieber might also explain why he added a second Denver date on June 30 to his Believe tour.

Check back at Reverb tomorrow for a full slideshow of his Denver concert, and for pictures of Bieber fans.

For his convenience, here’s a list of the five closest fast food restaurants to the Pepsi Center, as identified by Urban Spoon:

1. Quiznos, 1000 Chopper Cir.

2. Taco Bell, 900 Auraria Parkway

3. McDonalds, 900 Auraria Parkway

4. Blimpie, 1500 7th St.

5. Panda Express, 2000 Eliches Cir.
