Kalyn Heffernan, front-woman and MC of Denver’s hip-hop group, Wheelchair Sports Camp, and QKnox of the production house GirlGrabbers have teamed up for a beat-focused, monthly hip-hop collaboration. “Quantized Fitness” will take place every third weekend of the month at Unit E (12th Avenue and Santa Fe Drive) and the first party is taking place on Dec. 28 in celebration of Qknox’s self-titled beat-tape release.

Heffernan said a monthly event that focuses on the hip-hop community is the perfect fit for herself and QKnox.

“We’re focusing on branching out with other established hip-hop artists in the community to have a beat-focused night of music,” Heffernan said. “QKnox and I are so different yet so alike because we really want the focus to be on the community. A place where we can just come together with music in one place and be together.”

Quantized Fitness will feature performances and appearances from Kid Hum, Quiz Spits, Kalyn and Josh from Wheelchair Sports Camp, and QKnox. Partygoers are asked to email QuantizedFitness@gmail.com to get on the guest list.
