It’s that special time of the year again when the world’s music writers join together to lift up the artists, albums and songs that have made the last 12 months a little bit sweeter.

While I could name about 50 albums here from the furthest reaches of the musical spectrum whose covers I have considered embroidering on a T-shirt at some point over the year, I’ll keep it to 10 and bluegrass.
