Best Denver concerts this week: the Lumineers, the Black Angels, STS9 and more (12/28/12-01/03/13)

2) 3OH!3, the Epilogues, Chain Gang of 1974, Dec. 31, the Gothic Theatre, $30

Ok, 3OH!3 is not a good band, but that doesn’t mean this concert won’t be super fun. If this band can do one thing right it’s create a total, ridiculous party atmosphere. I mean, the poster for this show has the word “party” twice. And isn’t that all anyone wants to do on New Year’s Eve? Anyway, it’s nice to support some local bands, with the Chain Gang of 1974, the Epilogues and My Body Sings Electric opening — they like to party, too.
