Though you wouldn’t know it from its Geocities-esque website, 2013 marks the 5th anniversary of Black Forest, Colo.’s, MeadowGrass Music Festival. What’s more, popular indie rock troupe Blitzen Trapper are set to headline the festival’s opening day — a ready fit in the “Americana” contingent alongside the folk and bluegrass bands that make up the rest of the festival’s lineup.

MeadowGrass is set to hit Black Forest on May 24-26, which is the ever-popular festival weekend also known as Memorial Day weekend.

Three day passes are on sale for just $50 until Jan. 1. Those who purchase tickets before the deadline will automatically be entered to win a rental cabin for the duration of the weekend.
