SnowBall announces Pretty Lights, Big Gigantic, Kendrick Lamar on 2013 lineupBy Ricardo Baca | December 19th, 2012 | No Comments »
The initial SnowBall lineup has landed. And that means it’s time to get psyched about dancing (and partying) in the snow.
The SnowBall Music Festival announced a few high-profile acts on Wednesday morning, and here’s the scoop.
SnowBall vet (and Denver resident) Pretty Lights will play the March 8-10 festival in Winter Park, Colo. Also on the early list: Hip-hopper Kendrick Lamar, who is topping many critics’ year-end Top 10 lists; electronic heavyweight Datsik; indie heroes Portugal. The Man; dance music guru Porter Robinson; and jamtronica favorites Big Gigantic.
SnowBall’s 2013 outing will include three days of 65 acts on four stages, according to Wednesday’s release. The event moved from Avon, where its festivalgoers ran into problems with local law enforcement, to Winter Park for next year’s outing.
More acts already confirmed for the third annual event: Zion I, Flosstradamus, Rubblebucket and Crizzly w/ Lil Flip. Keep your eyes on Reverb’s SnowBall page for more announcements.
