DeVotchKa and the Colorado Symphony Orchestra may have seemed like an unlikely musical match just a year ago, but their indie-meets-institution collaboration produced two solid concerts in 2012, one at Boettcher Concert Hall last February and another at Red Rocks in September.

Next up: The album “DeVotchKa Live with the Colorado Symphony” due Tuesday. The two groups will celebrate the release with an in-store appearance that night at Twist & Shout records. You can buy the disc, and collect autographs after the show.
The performance will feature a couple of songs from the album, captured at the Boettcher show, and a yet-to-be determined number of players. Considering the back-up band for the actual concert featured 60 symphony musicians just about anything is possible.
Twist & Shout is at 2508 E. Colfax Ave. The performance starts at 8 p.m. More info at twistandshout.com or 303-722-1943.
