Furthur announces a four-night return to ColoradoBy Ricardo Baca | November 30th, 2012 | No Comments »
The Phil Lesh- and Bob Weir-fueled jam powerhouse known as Furthur loves it some Colorado — just as the Grateful Dead favored the Rocky Mountain state before them.
So we’re not totally surprised that the band just announced a big Colorado swing for February 2013.
Furthur will headline four shows in Denver and Broomfield from Feb. 21-24. The first show is at the super-intimate Ogden Theatre on Feb. 21, and the remaining three gigs are at the considerably larger 1stBank Center in the suburbs.
The band announced the shows on its website today with a specialized poster pitching “2013 Colorado.”
Presales begin Monday — via mail order and online orders. The public onsale will hit TicketHorse at 10 a.m. Dec. 7, according to the band’s site.
