It’s been nearly two years since Bon Jovi has wandered into Denver, loaded six-string and all. That show, which was in the intimate Korbel Ballroom of the Colorado Convention Center, was somewhat of an anomaly for the arena-rock band.
The group has just announced new U.S. dates for the “Bon Jovi Because We Can — The Tour.” This includes a stop in Denver at the Pepsi Center — much more familiar surroundings for a band that’s been selling out arenas for decades.
“As AEG Live embarks on its fourth collaboration with one of today’s greatest original rock bands, it is no surprise that they are going to sell out stadiums and arenas around the globe, since Bon Jovi has consistently delivered the goods to their hardcore and new fans alike,” said Randy Phillips, president & CEO of AEG Live in a news release.
The Denver show is on April 16 and tickets go on sale in select markets beginning Nov. 30.
The tour kicks off in Uncasville, Conn. on Feb. 9 and will stop for two nights in the band’s home state of New Jersey.
