No catering for the band, they had to buy thier own food, and the crew hadnt been paid either, im done defending her.

Glad I didn’t go to this. I so love Lauryn Hill but read the previous reviews and thought something like that might happen. What is it with these self-indulgent artist? Madonna to me was just as bad. Paid big money to see her drag herself out there after 3hrs to actually hear her sing maybe 12 songs live. The rest I was convinced was canned. Plus she doesn’t even cover her very earliest work…Holiday, etc.

What time did she finally start? We left before she started (roughly 10:45) because we already knew she was going to be late/different songs based off previous reviews…but yo, kinda disappointed Nas didn’t even do I Ruled the World…

If she was going to rearrange her songs to the point of them being unrecognizable, then she should have given her fans a heads up bc we wouldn’t have expected something else. We too, left after 15 minutes. This was the Oakland show. Waste of our time and money and i wish I could get a refund

I hated the show. the sound was terrible, the music was so loud it was just noise and you couldn’t hear the vocals (except when a-cappella). Not impressed, and clearly everyone around us was in shock too. decided to leave after 15 min of Lauryn Hill, even though we waited SO long for her to come on, and many other people were exiting too. Very disappointed.

Had I paid for my ticket, I would have been pissed. But considering I got in for free, I thought the show was great!
