Three marquee comedians announced they were hitting Denver this morning, reinforcing the Mile High City as not only a popular stand-up stop but an essential link in the national comedy-touring chain.
First, rant-master Lewis Black will return to the Front Range with a trio of shows in mid-January. He plays Fort Collins’ Lincoln Center on Jan. 17, followed by a Jan. 18 show at Denver’s Ellie Caulkins Opera House and Jan. 19 at the Pikes Peak Center in Colorado Springs. Tickets for all shows are on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16 via livenation.com.
Stand-up legend and actor Robin Williams will visit CU-Boulder’s Macky Auditorium on Jan. 18 for an unusual sit-down show with director and longtime comedy insider David Steinberg (“Seinfeld,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm”). Tickets for the career-spanning discussion are also on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, via Ticketmaster.
Finally, mega-comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham returns to Colorado for a big show at Broomfield’s 1stBank Center on March 8, part of his “Disorderly Conduct” world tour. Tickets are on sale Friday via Tickethorse.
