Say it ain’t so, Moz.

Cult British icon/former Smiths frontman Morrissey has postponed the reaminder of his 2012 U.S. tour, promoter AEG Live announced Friday morning.

On Monday of this week, Morrissey announced that his scheduled Oct. 23-27 tour dates would be postponed in order to allow him to return to England to tend to his sick mother.

As of Friday, all remaining U.S. tour dates, including a Nov. 3 show at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in Denver, have been postponed with the promise of rescheduled dates to come.

The fall tour was set to wrap in Atlantic City, N.J. on Dec. 8 before heading down under for a string of shows in Australia and New Zealand.

All ticketholders are “highly encouraged” to hold onto their seats until a new show is announced in the region. We will update this post when that happens.
