Are we totally surprised that STS9 is headlining the Fillmore Auditorium for a batch of New Year’s Eve shows this year? No. But we’re still excited.

STS9 is calling this three-day swing “Time Within Evolving Living Vehicle Earth,” so yeah, expect a trippy night of music and visuals.

STS9 announced its headlining dates at the Fillmore — Dec. 29-31, 2012 – with this: “We can’t wait to come full cycle with yall right where we started 2012 … in Denver at The Fillmore.”

Fan club tickets are on sale now via STS9 Ticketing. Remaining pre-sales will go live on Ticketmaster (of the Fillmore’s box office) at 10 a.m. Friday – $37-50-$40 for Dec. 29-30 and $75-$80 for Dec. 31.
