It’s been clogging your newsfeed all day: Celebrities — some relevant, some not — awkwardly holding a large clipboard that resembles a bootleg iPad and imploring you to register to vote. Why? Well, think of this as a slight improvement from Diddy’s “Vote Or Die” campaign, but nowhere near as succinct as the time-tested “Rock The Vote” initiative. It’s an effort by HeadCount, a well-meaning non-profit collective of musicians led by Disco Biscuits bassist Marc Brownstein that’s dedicated to getting young people to vote. Some of the photos circulating social networks this Tuesday are fine (Black Keys, Santigold, David Cross). Most are bad. Here’s 13 of our favorites (with a bonus Photoshop job thrown in for good measure).
