People’s website has the scoop, and apparently Lavigne, 27, and Kroeger, 37, first hooked up in February to collaborate on a song for Lavigne’s forthcoming record. Kroeger popped the question on Aug. 8 with a 14-carat diamond, according to People.
Yes, that’s 14 as in 1-4. Yikes.
Blame Canada? Sure.
What we want to know: When does the supergroup come in — Lavigne’s polished pop mixed with Kroeger’s redundant rock? Can you imagine a mash-up of “Complicated” and “How You Remind Me” — or don’t you want to?
