The Lumineers to play New Year’s Eve at the Ogden TheatreBy John Wenzel | August 15th, 2012 | No Comments »
The Lumineers have had a hell of a year, by any standard. The Denver-based folk band has enjoyed sold-out shows at the Bluebird Theater, a late-night TV appearance on “The Tonight Show” and even a spot on the Billboard chart for their new, eponymous album.
Now the band will play its biggest local show yet (not counting last month’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre slot opening for Cake).
The Lumineers will headline the Ogden Theatre for a New Year’s Even show on Dec. 31, with opener Shovels and Rope, channel 93.3 announced Wednesday morning.
Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday for $36, via AEG’s ticketing service axs.com.
