Bombay Bicycle Club at the Bluebird Theater, 8/6/12 (photos)By Reverb Staff | August 7th, 2012 | No Comments »
The Bluebird Theater was packed to the brim for Bombay Bicycle Club on Monday night. The venue sold out just minutes before the show started, leaving many disappointed fans scrambling to find tickets outside. Hey Rosetta! opened the show, and though the group was unknown to many in the crowd, its unique string and synth-heavy sound was a hit. The members of Bombay Bicycle Club were met with unchecked enthusiasm as they took the stage, opening with their single “How Can You Swallow So Much Sleep.” With “Your Eyes” and “Lights Out, Words Gone,” the Bombay boys sealed the deal. Their Denver premiere was a hit and we can only hope they’ll come back and play again soon.
