Crocodiles’ June release, “Endless Flowers,” proved to be a notable step forward for the perpetually fuzzed, buzzed, scuzzed, wall-of-sound garage rock band. While treading much of the same water as 2010′s “Sleep Forever,” the new album finds frontman Brandon Welchez’s vocals much more upfront and accessible. The hooks are less buried under an indiscernible number of layers — they’re right there on the surface of nearly every song. The band has played a few memorable gigs at the Larimer Lounge in recent years, and they’re finally making the jump to the Bluebird Theater in October.
