Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie to play 1stBank Center in October

One of these three facts about Marilyn Manson is true.

1. He once scooped his eyeball out with a spoon. 2. He played Paul Pfeiffer on “The Wonder Years.” 3. He’s a very savvy, very rich attention-seeker playing an overpriced arena tour with fellow goth-bro Rob Zombie this fall.

Buckle up: “The Twins of Evil” tour will hit Broomfield’s 1stBank Center on Oct. 2, promoter AEG Live announced Monday morning.

Said Mr. Zombie in the release: “If good taste is the chief enemy of great art, then we should be able to fill the Louvre with this fucking tour.”

J-Devil, the hilariously bad alter-ego of Korn frontman Jonathan Davis, will open the show with his own special blend of metal-dubstep-hardcore-bleeps-and-bloops.

Tickets, $39.50-$59.50, are on sale 10 a.m. Friday through TicketHorse.

Wow, corporate-sponsored nihilism. Sounds about right.
