Nathaniel Rateliff returns to UMS as special Sunday night guestBy John Hendrickson | July 11th, 2012 | 2 comments
The 12th annual Denver Post Underground Music Showcase is just eight days away, and event organizers leaked their final surprise for the 2012 festival this morning.
UMS veteran Nathaniel Rateliff will perform as a special guest on the Main Stage (Goodwill parking lot) on Sunday, July 22.
Rateliff, who has played the festival in various incarnations over the past decade, will return to the main stage for the first time since 2010. He will perform the second-to-last set of the weekend at 8 p.m. Sunday night, directly before Atlas Sound.
“I am overjoyed to be home and to be a part of UMS this year,” Rateliff said. “It’s our favorite community festival.”
Tickets for the July 19-22 festival are on sale now through theums.com.
