Members Joseph Simmons, a.k.a. Rev Run, and Darryl “D.M.C.” McDaniels stopped performing after the Jam Master Jay, was killed in 2002.
The two will headline the main stage for the Nov. 2-4 festival in Austin, Texas. D.M.C. will also perform a solo set featuring new material.
Some of the proceeds will be donated to the JMJ Foundation for Music, which gives youth access to the arts.
No word yet who, if anyone, will replace Jam Master Jay this fall.
The festival includes previously announced acts Atlas Sound, Starfucker, Black Moth Super Rainbow, the Head and the Heart and Lagwagon. -Kelsey Fowler
