Mile Marker: Leftover SalmonBy Reverb Staff | June 22nd, 2012 | No Comments »
Leftover Salmon came through Uneven Studio on a late Wednesday evening in early April. Spring was just rearing its head, and the intrinsically summer sound of bluegrass (including newgrass, jamgrass, slamgrass) was on our mind. We had wanted to have these Colorado favorites in for a Mile Marker for over a year, if only to witness the band’s chemistry up close and personal. LOS played five stripped-down songs that certainly reflect that sort of special relationship you can only find in an after-hours picking circle. Stream and download the session at your leisure — maybe crank it on the front porch with a cold craft beer (or six).
