Jackson Browne to play Denver’s Paramount Theatre in NovemberBy Ricardo Baca | June 18th, 2012 | No Comments »
Jackson Browne is best known for his own “Running on Empty,” the Eagles’ “Take it Easy” and Nico’s “These Days” – all songs he wrote. And so when he plays live, it’s always a hit-laced exercise in radio nostalgia and song craftsmanship going back four-plus decades.
The singer-songwriter added more dates to his 2012 acoustic tour this morning, and the announcement includes a couple Colorado dates.
Browne will play the Paramount Theatre on Nov. 14, promoter AEG Live announced this morning. He will also play the Pikes Peak Center in Colorado Springs on the following evening, Nov. 15.
Former Nickel Creek player Sara Watkins (seen most recently playing with the Decemberists) will support Browne on these dates. Tickets for the Paramount date, $49.50-$99.50, will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. Tickets for the Springs show will also go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, but the price and ticketing vendor has not yet been announced.
