Ghostland Observatory returns to Red Rocks this weekendBy John Hendrickson | June 14th, 2012 | 1 Comment »
Ghostland Observatory is one of the most exciting exports from the hallowed grounds of Austin, Texas, in recent years. The electro/dance music duo of Aaron Behrens and Thomas Turner is a Colorado favorite, having “stolen the show” from headliner Thievery Corporation at Red Rocks last August. GLO (as the hip kids say) will return to Morrison on Friday, this time as headliner. It’s more Daft Punk than Pretty Lights, more LCD Soundsystem than the Rapture — and it certainly works. Tickets, $35-$75, are available through Ticketmaster. Mimosa will open the show.
