Is the Westboro Baptist Church finally running out of things to protest?

WBC will picket “Price Is Right” host Drew Carey’s June 16 stand-up comedy performance at Comedy Works South in Greenwood Village, according to an email obtained by Reverb today.

Among the claims in the email:

“Carey is a hater of Biblical proportions!”

“If [Carey] had any love for anyone, he wouldn’t be pushing you down the path to Hell with both of his grubby hands.”

“GOD HATES F*G-ENABLING, GOD-HATING, LYING PERVERT DREW CAREY”

Carey’s Saturday night set takes place during Denver PrideFest 2012, though Comedy Works spokesperson Mel Gibson maintains that the two events are unrelated.

“It just happened to be the weekend Drew was available,” said Gibson.

On Tuesday, Carey tweeted a link to the Westboro Baptist Church Picket Schedule.

The schedule notes that WBC will also picket Day 2 of PrideFest in Denver’s Civic Center.

Here’s the intro from “The Drew Carey Show,” which is really what WBC should have protested circa 1995.
