Dierks Bentley bringing “Country and Cold Cans” to Red Rocks in August

Last year, country star Dierks Bentley named his big fall tour Country & Cold Cans – a nod to an ice-cold beer as accompaniment to his pop-country hits, no doubt.

The tour’s T-shirt-worthy title was so good that Bentley brought it back for this summer’s outing, which will bring him to Red Rocks for a headlining date.

Bentley, touring in support of his sixth full-length “Home,” will play Red Rocks on Aug. 16, promoter AEG Live announced this afternoon. Opening the show: Pat Green and Kip Moore.

“Country & Cold Cans was such a great tour last fall,” Bentley said in a release. “It’s just way too much fun to stop, and we knew we had to continue it into the spring and make another run across the U.S. when we get home from Canada and Australia.”

Now all he needs is a beer sponsor?

Tickets, $38.50-$42.50, will be available via Ticketmaster at 10 a.m. Friday.
