Trampled by Turtles is one of the most exciting live bands in the ever-saturated Americana/folk/bluegrass revivalist movement. The Duluth, Minn. quintet shreds various string instruments while still managing to keep accessible melodies at the core of each and every song. This year’s “Stars and Satellites” may not pack the where-did-this-come-from punch of 2010′s “Palomino,” though the songs are destined to take off in a live setting. Catch TBT at the Boulder Theater on Thursday and the Ogden Theatre on Friday — your only chance until late-July’s RockyGrass festival in Lyons.
