The band is touring this summer – behind the new “Americana,” which will be released on June 5. They’re playing the Outside Lands festival, according to their website. And they’re also playing at Red Rocks – twice – Reverb has learned.

Neil Young & Crazy Horse will headline Red Rocks on Aug. 5-6, according to Ticketmaster. Tickets, $62.50-$170.50, will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. via Ticketmaster.

UPDATE: Now we know who’s opening both shows, and it’s a doozy. Buzzband the Alabama Shakes will open both shows, according to promoter Live Nation’s Twitter account.

Wow.  A has been from the 60’s charging $170 per ticket…?   I guess the silver pony tail crowd can afford it if they want to.

It’s fair to criticize the ticket prices but Neil Young a “has been”? Hardly. He makes better music today – at age 66 or whatever – than 90% of the bands out there.

    • Tsjerog304
