Telluride Blues & Brews 2012: Phil Lesh, B-52’s, Gov’t Mule

Telluride Town Park may be Colorado’s most picturesque setting to see live music — even if most of the artists making their way to the canyon this year are all too familiar.

Like the previously announced 2012 Telluride Bluegrass lineup, today’s news of the mid-September Telluride Blues & Brews festival, while crowd-pleasing, feels a tad stale.

Phil Lesh & Friends, Gov’t Mule and the B-52’s will headline the Sept. 14-16 festival. Chris Robinson Brotherhood, MarchFourth Marching Band, Tab Benoit, Little Hurricane and the Lee Boys will also perform, with more acts to be announced.

Three-day passes ($170) are on sale now through tellurideblues.com. Single-day tickets (price TBD), go on sale 10 a.m. June 15.
