The Rocky Mountain Folks Festival at Planet Bluegrass ranch in Lyons, Colo. is consistently one of the state’s most enjoyable summer weekends, if only for its picturesque atmosphere on the banks of St. Vrain Creek.
Though with today’s lineup additions, the 22nd incarnation of the fest may be among the top musical bills to hit the front range between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Iron & Wine, Neko Case, Justin Townes Earle and Kathleen Edwards lead the final round of artists scheduled to play the Aug. 17-19 festival, Planet Bluegrass told Reverb this morning.
The four acts join previously announced headliners Lyle Lovett, Amos Lee and Dawes. Less than 100 3-day passes ($125) remain for the weekend, and single-day tickets, $55, are available Tuesday through bluegrass.com.
