Fiona Apple is coming to Denver in a few months, and she’ll make her stop in the Mile High during one of the busiest weeks of the Colorado summer concert season.
Apple will play the Paramount Theatre on July 20, according to her website. It is a significant stop on her summer tour that includes performances at the Governor’s Ball (Randall’s Island) in New York and the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn.
The critically acclaimed ’90s singer-songwriter reaffirmed her headliner status with a high profile gig at Stubb’s Bar-B-Q during the NPR showcase at last month’s South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas.
The Denver date falls during a week in July that also includes Emmylou Harris and Steve Martin at Red Rocks (July 18), the UMS (July 19-22), Global Dance Festival (July 20-22) and Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney at Sports Authority Field (July 21).
Tickets for Apple’s Denver show are on sale 10 a.m. next Friday, April 20 through TicketHorse.
