Mile Marker: Garage A TroisBy Reverb Staff | April 6th, 2012 | No Comments »
We’ve never had a day at Uneven Studio quite like the one we had when Garage A Trois came by in December. The acid-jazz band was in town for a heralded gig at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom, and we were lucky to get a couple hours of studio time in for the quartet to lay down these four avante-garde songs. While these tracks are likely not easily accessible to most ears, the musicianship is in a class all its own — with Marco Benevento, Skerik and Mike Dillon freewhelin’ overtop of Stanton Moore’s ever-frenetic drumming. Turn the volume up a few extra notches and enjoy the onslaught at your leisure.
