News: 311 and Slightly Stoopid to bro out hardcore once again at Red Rocks

Fans of 311 won’t be surprised that the band’s Unity Tour is celebrating its 10th anniversary this summer.

But it’s still an unlikely success story: ’90s modern rock act rises from near-forgotten status to headline sizable rooms with the likes of Slightly Stoopid, Snoop Dogg, Cyprus Hill, Ozomatli and others.

Well, the Unity Tour is back. With 311, of course. And Slightly Stoopid. And SOJA. And a big date at Red Rocks this summer.

The Unity Tour will take over Red Rocks on Aug. 19. Given SOJA’s recent, sold-out take at the Ogden Theatre, this could prove to be a hotter ticket than normal.

Tickets, $59.50, go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ticketmaster.
