Mile Marker: Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin

Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin’s “Tape Club” was one of our favorite releases of 2011 because of its earnest approach to fundamental pop-rock. There’s no gimmicks, no of-the-moment trends nor anything necessarily buzzy about this band’s sound. The songs simply stand on their own and remind us of a simpler time, when personal lyrics and a delicate melody were all you needed to get heard. “Yellow Missing Signs” embodies this ideal below — one of three unplugged songs that 2/4 of the band stopped in to perform before their show at the Hi-Dive last November (touring with Mile Marker alumns Ha Ha Tonka, no less). Help yourself to the full set below.
