News: Death Cab For Cutie to bring orchestra tour to DenverBy Ricardo Baca | January 18th, 2012 | No Comments »
Death Cab For Cutie announced an intimate tour this morning that has the indie-gone-major act playing intimate rooms while accompanied by the renowned Magik*Magik Orchestra. And the tour kicks off with a Denver date in April.
Seattle-rooted Death Cab first worked with the San Francisco-based orchestra for its recent episode of “VH1 Storytellers,” and this tour presents a unique opportunity to see the band – focusing in its recent “Codes and Keys” release — in intimate environs.
The small tour will play the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in Denver on April 10.
A fan-club pre-sale starts on Friday via deathcabforcutie.com. Remaining tickets will go on sale to the public on Jan. 27.
We’ll have more details as they’re announced, so keep your eyes here and on our Twitter feed.
