Hey, Denver, it's a dance party! Come hang with us at 3 Kings! - Reverb

Can’t Hardly Wait: Come party with the Reverb staff — Friday-night dance party at 3 Kings

Some celebrate Christmas with eggnog, and we have nothing against that. But if we’re celebrating with eggnog, we’re sneaking the dairy box into 3 Kings on Friday and asking the barkeep to mix it with rum.

Indeed, it’s time for another Reverb party! The occasion? The holidays, of course!

The party goes down Friday night at 10 p.m. at 3 Kings Tavern, 60 S. Broadway in Baker. Reverb scribe Eryc Eyl will be on the 1s and 2s — as his not-quite-top-secret alter ego DJ Savior Breath — and he’ll have his guests, too, including longtime Denver music supporter John Moore, who co-founded the Underground Music Showcase and recently stepped down from his arts reporter role at The Denver Post.

Eryc will have tons of giveaways — including CDs, box sets, books, DVDs and such — so make sure you say hello. (Even if you don’t know him, you’ll know who he is, trust us. Look for the holy man.) Best of all, it’s a dance party, so shake a leg, yeah?

What: The Reverb Christmas Dance Party!
When: Friday, 10 p.m.-2 a.m.
Where: 3 Kings Tavern, 60 S. Broadway
Drink specials: O, yeah, we’ll have ‘em. Sailor Jerry is sponsoring the party, so come prepared with the eggnog.
Cover: It’s free, yo! RSVP here.
Why: Cos you’re not afraid to shake it — and you like free music stuff!
