The Irish-flavored punk rock band Flogging Molly has canceled two upcoming tour dates, including a Dec. 6 appearance at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, promoter AEG Live announced this morning.

The press release cites “unanticipated circumstances,” specifically the forthcoming premature delivery of drummer George Schwindt’s first baby.

Flogging Molly was scheduled to play Channel 93.3’s “Not So Silent Night” at the 1stBank Center on Tuesday with Rise Against, Air Dubai and Calibrate Me. Denver’s Flobots will take the band’s place as second tier headliner on the bill.

Flogging Molly has rescheduled Tuesday’s appearance for March 14, 2012 at the Ogden Theatre.

The Ogden is a better venue plus it’d be more fun to see them sans the tripe 93.3 had them playing with. Bleech!
