Hot Shots: Sexy party animals at the Haunted Hotel @ the Marriott DTCBy Quoleena Sbrocca | November 4th, 2011 | No Comments »
The Haunted Hotel costume party extravaganza was back on Saturday, for a third consecutive sold-out event. The 21-plus night at the Marriott DTC hosted a tidal wave of costumes as participants piled into the lobby for their admittance to the Halloween bash.
The Marriott’s massive, bright atrium was transformed into a dark and fluorescent glow stick-lit party area, complete with a main stage for live music and a dance floor. Costumes were quirky, extravagant, raunchy and reminiscent, proving that the costume judges would have a difficult task to declare a winner of the night. It seemed as if all possible characters were at the Marriott to get their haunted party on, from Ruffio (“Hook”), the orange-clad DJ Lance of Yo Gabba Gabba, the supreme being, Leeloo, and a nine-foot praying mantis, showing that much of the sold-out partiers brought their costume A-game to this year’s Haunted Hotel.
