Get your skis ready, Snow Ball music festival is back
The inaugural Snow Ball music festival hit the slopes in grand style with the likes of the Flaming Lips and Pretty Lights earlier this year (Reverb captured the weekend here) and 2012 is looking like it’s going to be BIG. The festival will serve as a last huzzah before Spring Break going down in Vail Valley March 2–4, 2012 (Tickets on sale Wednesday, Nov 30). Check back with Reverb for artist information and ticket prices.

Reverb to take a bite out of CMJ 2011
We’re pretty jazzed over here at Reverb right now because of our first CMJ party happening October 22 over at Fontana’s in NYC’s Lower East Side. Our lineup reflects some of our favorite acts from our fair city that are making the rounds right now sprinkled in with some national hitters. Gauntlet Hair, FLASHLIGHTS and R E A L M A G I C will be holding it down for Denver on behalf of those that can’t make it to CMJ this year. We put together a Reverb @ CMJ 2011 party playlist that you can listen to here. Our party is getting some early love from Brooklyn Vegan along with our media partner, Brooklyn 365. RSVP for the party on Facebook.
It pays to bank at 1stBank (we swear Dave Logan did not put us up to this)
1stBank is taking a page out of the American Express playbook by allowing for its customers to sign up for alerts and presales at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield on upcoming shows before they’re available to the general public.
Listen to some new Air Dubai
Air Dubai wants to make sure that fans are ready for its Colorado tour with the Epilogues, so much in fact that AD has released some new material in the form of a new single, “Lights Down.” The new track is FM ready and the dual vocalists vibe well off of each other.

The Bloody Scallywags to walk the plank over at 3 Kings Tavern
Girls Rock Denver will be holding a benefit October 30 over at the 3 Kings Tavern that will host several local supergroups performing the music from Echo & the Bunnymen, the Cure and Depeche Mode. The Bloody Scallywags will be performing music from Echo and your precious Bunnymen and will pack a power punch with Jim McTurnan on vocals, Matt Fecher on bass (South Park and Monolith Music Festivals), Ryan Chrys on guitar (the Angie Stevens Band), Robert Goose Guzman on guitar (the Mighty 18 Wheeler) and Madison Lucas on drums (Fever Dream). Head over here for more information.
