Today, September 13, is the 15th anniversary of the day Tupac Shakur died after being shot in a drive-by in Las Vegas after attending a Mike Tyson heavyweight championship fight at the MGM Grand Hotel.
The way Tupac’s lived his life was almost more inspirational to me than his music was. I think this quote — originally by Norman Cousins, reinterpreted by Tupac — sums that up.
“Death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside while still alive. Never surrender.”
