And just like that, he’s back.

Singer-songwriter Ryan Adams will play the intimate Su Teatro at Denver Civic Theatre in Denver’s Santa Fe Arts District on Thursday night, it was announced this morning.

Adams, the cult pop-folk hero who publicly “quit music” in January 2009, has a string of West Coast dates scheduled over the next two months in support of his forthcoming studio album, “Ashes & Fire,” to be released October 10 on his own Pax-Am record label in conjunction with Capitol Records.

Thursday’s show in Denver is currently the only scheduled performance before the October album release. Tickets for the show, $54.85, will be made available through Ticketmaster on Tuesday morning. Click here for more info.

We will update this post with more details as they become available.
