Paper Bird has been pretty cozy with Ballet Nouveau Colorado as of late. With the help of their friend Isaac Ravishankara, they have put the final touches on their new video for the ballet using “Carry On” as the backdrop to the graceful dancers on stage.

The Chain Gang of 1974 got their first taste of television on CW’s hit, “Gossip Girl” a couple of weeks ago, and now they’ve moved on up to a major network. NBC’s “Law & Order” is the latest to showcase their music and if you watch at the 7:54 mark, you can hear the track, “Devil is a Lady.” Too bad Ice-T wasn’t in the scene. Look for TCGO 1974 to share the stage with Candy Claws at the Gothic Theatre June 11.

Beta April recap

After watching the recap from April’s performances over at Beta Nighclub that included appearances by Robbie Rivera, Kaskade, the Crystal Method, Afrojack, Riva Starr, Markus Schulz, Chris Lake, Blake Jarrell and Steve Smooth. We at Reverb feel inclined to give the crew a strong B+. We feel that some nights were a little light in the smoke and lights department, but, yeah, keep on keepin’ on, guys.

Listen to Force Publique’s latest single

Force Publique is on pace to release as much as Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, Ryan Adams or Frank Zappa if they continue churning stuff out at this rate. Check out their latest cut below that borders on depressing and self-loathing, in a good way of course.

u00a0I would have to say that the #1 Club in North America deserves an A+, especially with this month’s line-up.
