Photo essay: Atmosphere @ the Fox Theatre

Indie hip-hop crew Atmosphere brought their Rhymesayers family of artists for a sold-out show at Boulder’s Fox Theatre on Tuesday night. A list of opening acts including Blueprint, Grieves, Budo and Musab made for a long night of music for Boulder hip-hop fans. Atmosphere, under the guidance of rapper Slug and DJ Ant, finally hit the stage after 11 and put in a long set that included work that spanned the group’s 20 years as icons of the underground movement. The band and other Rhymesayers acts will return to Colorado this summer on August 19 when they hit Red Rocks as “The Family Vacation Tour.”
